Welcome,
As newly elected President of the Gulf Coast Association of Governmental Purchasing Officers (SW Florida Chapter of NIGP) for 2025, I am honored to lead this group of talented, dedicated people responsible for upholding high ethical standards and accountability for all government agencies of Southwest Florida.
This is an invitation to all those procurement professionals working for Cities, Counties, School Districts, Port Authorities, and other governmental procurement agencies in Southwest Florida to join us at our quarterly meetings, get involved with our Reverse Trade Show (this year April 3rd at the Naples Hilton), join in the invaluable networking of our colleagues throughout SW Florida and beyond.
This year my goal will be to increase actively participating membership, bring in talented knowledgeable speakers to our quarterly meetings, increase educational opportunities for local government purchasing professionals, and spread awareness of the association.
The association will continue to develop, support and promote the public procurement profession.
I look forward to the excitement, possibilities, and challenges in 2025.
